Hi Guys, I was reading an article and thought I would share an article from the ABC's life etc magazine. This was from the article in July/August 2006.
"Jo Tesoriero, 42, a former public servant, and her husband, Paul Hodgrnan, a 45-year-old human resources consultant, turned to ancient Dr Antonia Ruhl's Amazon fertility treatment to have a family. They now have Isabella, 4 and Lucia, 8 months.
"Paul and I met when we worked in local government. We married in 1996. As time passed we decided we wanted a family and once we made the decision it became a burning desire. After about nine months I fell pregnant but I miscarried at 14 weeks. It took another nine months to conceive Isabella after the miscarriage."
I wondered if I'd ever be pregnant again - but Isabella arrived in November 2001. "Paul and I had already decided we'd have another child so, before Isabella turned one, we tried to conceive again.

"I took Dr Antonia Ruhl's number but still saw the IVF specialist the next day. I had several checks and was told I had a 12 per cent chance of getting pregnant.
"I remember sitting in my car afterwards crying and feeling guilty that I couldn't give Isabella a brother or sister. "Paul and I decided to see Dr Antonia Ruhl in early 2004. She said it was just a matter of time before I fell pregnant. When my body was prepared, it would happen. Her optimism was infectious.
"Paul and I drank a cocktail of herbs each day and Antonia performed energy pressure point treatment at certain times in my cycle. She said it helped energy flow through my body so there were no blockages to prevent pregnancy. "
Some people might think it sounds strange but I had complete confidence in what we were doing. "About six months after I started treatment my period was late." I did a home pregnancy test. Paul double-checked. I was pregnant. "Lucia was born in May 2005. She's very different from her sister. Isabella is light with green eyes and honey brown hair. Lucia is a feisty girl with brown eyes and dark hair who's not much of a sleeper!
"I still have moments when I can't believe these two little girls are mine. As soon as Lucia hears Isabella's voice she squeals with delight and Isabella adores Lucia. Every night I go to bed and thank God for my children. For a while I thought I'd never have them. I know I'm extremely lucky."
